device is super simple. Here we go.
Make sure your new phone
is turned off. If a SIM card came
with your phone, you'll need to insert it. Use the SIM ejector tool
from the quick start guide, included in your packaging,
to pop open the tray. Fit the SIM card onto
the tray, chip-side down.
Then, slide it back in. With your new phone still off, use your old phone or a computer to visit Xfinitymobile.Com/account, and select the device
you want to activate. If you're bringing your phone number to XFINITY Mobile, you'll need to enter information from your previous carrier, including your account number, which you can find
on a recent bill, or on your previous
carrier's website. You'll also need your PIN.
If you don't know your PIN, you can reset it from
your old carrier's site, use your old phone to call them, or click on the tool tips while you're going through
the activation steps on Xfinitymobile.Com. Finally, hit
the activate button. Once activation begins,
you're moments away. Phone numbers from most
major carriers transfer in under ten minutes.
You don't have to stick around while the activation is in progress. You'll receive an e-mail
when you can turn on your phone and start using it. And then, done. You're ready to start enjoying
a new kind of network.
